About me

Since qualifying in 2010 I have worked professionally across a range of mental health services and sectors, including private and mental health charities. With over a decade of experience I have helped clients with a range of presentations of varying complexities, including, anxiety, depression, OCD, bereavement, and loss.

As a registered member of the BACP  you can be reassured of my continual professional development and commitment to best practice, through ongoing training and the use of evidence-based therapies. I practice an Integrative approach, which means, I incorporate techniques from a range of therapies that are specific and right for you.

One of the most important things to me is developing a mutual trust and respect with clients and creating a space that not only feels safe to break down barriers and explore feelings, but that also provides warmth, encouragement, and motivation to change negative thought and behaviour patterns.

In my free time you will find me trying to relax as much as possible amidst a busy homelife! I love being outdoors, so for me that involves much time spent in the garden, frequent visits to the seaside and outdoor pursuits when I can – I’m also not adverse to a spot of winter camping!
